This Berner high power Induction stockpot, is manufactured in Germany to the highest industry standards. Using induction dramatically reduces energy consumption, heat is instant and 90% of the energy is directly transfered to the pan as against 50% in gas and 60% on standard electric appliances, energy is only used when the pan is placed onto the induction ring. As the induction ring keeps cool (only the pan gets hot) it is a very safe piece of equipment to use, a further benefit is in keeping the ambient temperature down in the kitchen, therefore reducing the size and cost of ventilation you will require, and improving the working environment.
